[Memories Will Always Be Engraved In My Heart]. crying when people make fun of you. smiling when you get to eat ice cream. yellow flowers were all that mattered. gel pens were meant for collecting. cheerleading was said to be our favorite sport. boys were the monsters that you couldnt talk to. the rainbow was my favorite color. hugging didn`t mean i need you, but meant hello. water bottles up next to the window. chinese restaurants were the best. handing out valentine cards to everyone even if you hated them. friends were true friends. backstabbing wasnt invented yet. kate and karen are twins forever. boyfriends meant nothing. pictures were taken for the heck of taking it. field trips were the best day of school. trying to beat the teacher to class. computers didnt matter to anyone. the phone was the way to talk. love was the barney type of love. the best music was chapel songs. no one fell asleep listening at church. pinecones with red berries. sand under your toes meant worms crawling up your pants. singing k i s s i n g in the tree song. california guys werent hawt. beaches were made for sandcastles. people on those yellow buses were murderers. <3 was used in math class. sleeping at 9 was considered late. high school was so far away. always wanting to grow up as soon as possible. being mad was a one-day thing. best friend charms were the thing to wear. taking revenge was nowhere to be found. clothes didnt matter in the morning. fashion was always five steps away. gossip was only about how people were smart and how we werent. writing neat cursive was known as a talent that everyone wanted. no one was considered artistically challenged. you always won and you were never a loser. a teacher being sick was something bad. homework was done right after school. riding bicycles around the neighbor hood. camping in the backyard. no one sang bad. unit tests just meant studying a little harder. playing piano was so much fun. play-dates. the best game to play was trying to stick marshmallows on people`s faces. dressing up in costumes for special days. learning how to spell m i s s i s s i p p i . writing letters were considered hard tasks. homework was done with a happy heart. putting on mommyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s sunglasses. broken hearts were only there when one of our friends fell on the cement. birthday parties at ChuckECheese. truth or dare and would you rather questions were horror. dull lives meant you didnt know how to color. thinking that sleeping was meant in sleepovers because the word 'sleep' was in both words. chocolate went all over our faces when eaten. when our goldfishy died, we all wanted a funeral for it. long term crushes. school was all that mattered. eating candy after 8 was really bad. celery with peanut butter. "im sorry" would fix every thing. christmas presents didn`t cost a thing. water fights. innocent eyes. drinking coffee was considered being old. beer was known as rotten apple juice that tasted really bad. people in the same class was one whole family. midnight walks in the grass. burning toilet paper. afternoon snacks of cookies and milk. parents paid for everything. the ugliest clothes were just so pretty. jealousy was only found in other people`s socks. being called by another name was just so cool. the park was the place to be. watching TV was only for watching Arthur and DW. uniforms were considered awesome clothes. the grade 6 and 7 people were the "big kids". no one cared if you were short or not. the biggest mistakes were only made when spilling milk all over the table because you didn`t want to drink it. talking to boys was a scary thing. going with mommy to grocery shopping was the coolest thing to do. playing with money. going into safeway and collecting all those coupons hanging in middle of nowhere was fun. stuff animals to hug while sleeping. you could get away with anything just because you looked so adorable. campfires were made for burning sticks. everything was make-believe but all these memories werent.
